Jill Gilliland has expertise in the pediatric nursing field and industry knowledge of children's hospitals, physician groups and pediatric clinics. She understands organizational structures, advanced practice management, billing, roles, relationships and the employment needs of chief nursing officers, directors, managers and physicians. She has a proven track record in recruiting of pediatric advanced practice and nursing leaders. She is a determined supporter of NAPNAP, AONE, APHON, AACN, SPCN and AAP in addition to attending and sponsoring many of their conferences.

Sharla Jackson

Sharla Jackson is our Candidate Manager. She enjoys the one-on-one interactions with pediatric nurses as she helps our candidates in their job search strategy. Sharla has strong interpersonal communication skills and a solid understanding of pediatric healthcare. She is committed to providing the best customer service and helping our candidates in the difficult process of finding a new job that is the right fit. Her professionalism is a companion to her integrity, and she treats all of our candidates with respect and promptness.

Sharla's 13 years of experience as an Office Manager in the healthcare industry and 12 years of experience in Recruiting and Human Resources provide a strong industry knowledge and recruiting background. Sharla is also a professional musician, has her own band and volunteers with Mount Evans Hospice, singing for patients of all ages in the hospice setting. Dodie Sampson

Dodie Sampson is our Executive Marketing Specialist. Her extensive background in human resources, training and development and corporate communications led to her current role with Melnic Consulting. She is committed to being sure those who come to Melnic in their pediatric nursing job searches have the tools they need through our website and job postings that will lead them to a successful placement experience. Dodie enjoys using her excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to help build strong client relationships with those special people who devote their lives to helping others. Heather Herndon

Heather Herndon is our Recruitment Specialist at Melnic Consulting Group. She brings ten years of sales experience with over five years in health and medical sales and has extensive knowledge of pediatric hospitals and offices. Possessing a strong history of building relationships with nurses to provide the best possible care to their patients, Heather is committed to providing the highest level of professionalism and integrity. Through these relationships she understands the importance of matching the perfect positions for our candidates.

Kim Burley

Kim Burley is our Client Development Specialist. Kim is committed to providing clients with exceptional sales support and service. Kim enjoys working with physicians and physician office professionals to assist them in obtaining exceptionally qualified Nurse Practitioners to meet their recruitment needs.

Kim has 18 years experience in the healthcare industry. She is a seasoned professional with expertise in physician and mid-level recruitment, retention, contracting, sales and marketing. Prior to joining Melnic Consulting, Kim was an in-house physician and mid-level recruiter for a hospital in Michigan for many years.

She has also developed physician and mid-level retention programs for a large health system in mid-Michigan. Most recently, she managed several physician recruitment and mid-level online recruitment programs for a non-profit organization in Michigan. She is happy to share her insights in the field to assist clients with the best possible recruitment and retention solutions. Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Communications from Michigan State University.

Kim Smith is our Marketing and Events Manager. She brings with her over 10 years of experience in developing and executing well rounded marketing strategies that distinguish organizations within the marketplace. Kim is a creative and passionate professional who’s expertise in online and social media marketing, event production, and relationship management helps Melnic Consulting reach the top candidates and clients in the nation. She is committed to providing the highest level of professionalism and truly respects and admires the dedicated individuals in the Health Care field.

Kim received her Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion and Education from the University of Georgia. Melnic Consulting Group is delighted to have her on our team.

Shawn Kelly

Shawn Kelly is the Placement Manager of Melnic Consulting Group. Her organization, energy and computer skills help keep Melnic Consulting Group running smoothly. She is forming solid relationships with the clients. Her outgoing personality keeps her engaged with the clients as well.

Shawn Kelly has expertise in the jewelry business. With over 5 years of experience in sales while in Dallas and then moved into the manufacturing side in New York.

After some soul searching she decided to obtain her Masters and try teaching first graders. It is a lifestyle that Shawn uses day in and day out with her colleagues and the clients of Melnic. Her latest endeavor was becoming the Office Manager at a law office. She used many of the same ideals and philosophies she used in teaching, just with older students. She has a BS degree in Management from Purdue University and a Masters Degree from University of Virginia. Melnic Consulting Group is delighted to have Shawn on our team.
