Become a member of the general surgery team at this leading academic children’s hospital as the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the General Pediatric Surgery Department. As the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the General Pediatric Surgery department, you will be responsible for working with pre-surgical patients and their families to provide efficient, timely and fiscally responsible care. Using your clinical expertise and experience in General Pediatric Surgery, you will collaborate with other health care professionals to provide the best possible care for these patients while contributing to an atmosphere of teamwork within your group. At this leading academic children’s hospital, you will use your leadership skills in your role as mentor, educator and clinical consultant.

Qualifications:
Master’s level degree from an accredited program with preparation as a Nurse Practitioner; current RN licensure in the State of Texas; full authorization from Texas Board of Nursing to practice as a Nurse Practitioner; current BLS/CPR certification; current PALS certification or within 6 months of date of hire; current acute care certification and must be fully credentialed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner.
