Become a member of the inpatient management team as the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Hospitalist at this leading children’s hospital. You will be responsible for the delivery of comprehensive, quality patient care including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to children from birth through adolescence. This is the only health care facility in the region specifically serving the needs of children. They believe the most important thing in the world is a child’s health and giving children the care they deserve.

The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in this role will function as a member of the inpatient physician team and will use their skills and experience in pediatric nursing to examine and treat patients in collaboration with the team at this leading children’s hospital. From admission to discharge, the PNP or PA Hospitalist will work to ensure the success of the patient’s treatment plan, noting progress and recommending therapeutic interventions when necessary, providing patient/family education and completing the discharge process.

Qualifications:
Formal training in pediatrics, required; two years of pediatric work experience, preferred; current State of Connecticut PNP, PA or APRN licensure, required; current Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR in infant, child and adult, required; PALS certification within 6 months of hire, required.
