this leading children's hospital as the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in their
Trauma Center where they treat infants, children and adolescents who have
sustained multiple system trauma or multiple injuries. This Trauma Center continues to enjoy their Level
1 trauma designation, attained in 2005, for their high standards in comprehensive
multi-disciplinary services to trauma patients.

patient/family-centered care model and nursing philosophy. Responsibilities of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Trauma at this leading children’s hospital include admission histories and physicals, completing plans of care and day-to-day management of patients in the Center, managing the entire patient course with the attending physician. The PNP will also initiate referrals and follow-up with consults to other providers as indicated. Your trauma skills, experience and high degree of professionalism will position you well as you assess and interpret data and information needed to identify each patient’s care requirements and provide that care as a member of the trauma team.
