We are a 100% contingency staffing agency. You will not pay a fee until we fill your position. Additionally, you receive the added value of free exposure as we promote your positions to our candidate network.

For candidates who are out-of-state, our average placement period is 54 days. If suitable candidates are local to your area, we can typically complete a placement within 30 days.

We have almost 1,000 candidates looking for a job at any time, so we can often provide candidates within a week.

Our placements come with a 90 day guarantee. If your candidate quits or is terminated, we will find another suitable candidate within 120 days or you’ll receive a full refund. Our goal is to build a long-term partnership with you, so we want you to be highly satisfied with the level of service you receive.

Every Melnic candidate comes with a detailed profile and a personal recommendation from our Recruitment Manager. We complete a full reference and resume review.  We also assess candidates for critical thinking and communication skills and learn all we can about their roles and clinical experiences. The information you receive is comprehensive and designed to make your decision making process easier.

We also schedule interviews, arrange travel  itineraries, and streamline communication. The result is a a prompt and professional hiring process that saves you time and money.

After the placement, we stay in contact to ensure that your new hire is onboarding effectively and is getting credentialed in a timely fashion.  In the event that a candidate or an employer has difficulty with the placement, we will facilitate a conversation to seek a mutually-beneficial solution. We call you at 30, 60, and 90 day intervals to support a smooth transition.

When you work with Melnic, you gain a team of Advanced Practice hiring specialists. We work closely with you on a coordinated a 5-Step process to fill your jobs with the highly-qualified talent you need.

Step 1: Recruiting Plan

We discuss your specific hiring needs, clearly define the role(s) you need to fill, and learn what sets your organization apart.

It’s our mission to source candidates whose goals and qualifications closely align with the role you need to fill. A detailed plan clarifies the necessary skills, experience, and cultural fit you’re looking for.

Step 2: Candidate Presentation

We present you with pre-screened and pre-selected Melnic candidates for consideration.

Candidates undergo a detailed reference and resume review, a leadership skills assessment, and a phone interview with our Recruitment Manager before we recommend them to you.

Our comprehensive profile helps you more confidently choose candidates to interview. It includes a valuable reference report tailored specifically to the job role (NP, PA, New Grad, etc.) and a report of the candidate’s past performance, strengths, and growth areas,

Step 3: Assess + Interview

Our Candidate Manager schedules a telephone or video interview at your convenience. If you decide not to move forward, we notify the candidate. However, if you choose to continue your assessment, we facilitate additional calls leading to an on-site interview.

When you are ready for an onsite interview, we handle scheduling, travel itineraries, and two-way communication. This includes:

  • Ensuring salary alignment prior to the interview.
  • Debriefing the candidate on your organization and key points of contact, including a detailed interview agenda.
  • Providing all parties with travel and contact information. (We will book travel and lodging, if requested.)
  • Acting as a liaison for any issues that arise with travel or scheduling. We help your organization put “its best foot forward.”
  • Following up with all parties after the interview to ensure alignment and consensus on next steps.
  • Providing an appointment with a local realtor (if the candidate is out-of-state) to become familiar with the community.

Step 4: Offer Negotiation

Depending on your preference, we will present your offer to the candidate. We act as a liaison to address any questions, seek clarification, and facilitate contract negotiations as needed to satisfy all parties.

Step 5: Placement & Follow-Through

Throughout the placement process, we stay in contact to ensure that your new hire is onboarding effectively and is getting credentialed in a timely fashion. You will receive an invoice for our services on the start date, unless requested earlier.

In the event that a candidate or an employer has difficulty with the placement, we will facilitate a conversation to seek a mutually-beneficial solution. We call you at 5, 30, 60, and 90 day intervals to support a smooth transition.
