PCICS Advanced Practice Provider Simulation Boot Camp

Registration is open for the Advanced Practice Provider Simulation Boot Camp, sponsored by the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society (PCICS). This is an incredibly valuable course for advanced practice providers who work in pediatric cardiac intensive/acute care units.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
- Provide the opportunity for practical application of the information contained in the PCICS APP Curriculum Book, including invasive procedures and various management skills.
- Promote critical thinking and decision making in clinical situations that are common when caring for patients with critical cardiac disease.
- Allow APPs orienting to pediatric cardiac intensive and acute care to utilize and refine skills necessary for high level APP practice, and may also be used by the experienced APP as a review and expansion of knowledge, and to refine and elevate their critical thinking and decision making in evolving critical clinical situations.
