Melnic Holiday Wishes! Thinking of You.
As our team looks back on 2018, we’re grateful for the wonderful APRNs and PAs we’ve worked with this year. Thousands of you have reached out and invited us to be a part of your career journey!
I hope you know just how much you are valued, loved, and appreciated. Your contributions reach far beyond your patients and make a lasting impact on the field of healthcare. So let’s take a minute to celebrate you!
- Fifty years ago, a handful of physician assistants pioneered the profession. Today, there are more than 115,547! It’s incredible to see how the profession has grown in 50 years.
- Nurse Practitioners hold prescriptive privileges in all 50 states and D.C. According to AANP, 95.8% of NPs prescribe medications, and those in full-time practice write an average of 23 prescriptions per day.
You’re advancing the profession and making great strides! Keep on inspiring us with your intelligence, compassion, and commitment to patients. Believe me, every little thing you do makes a big difference.
This year, a member of my immediate family faced a life-threatening diagnosis. Fortunately, we had a fabulous care team with an exceptional NP named Abby. Abby put our minds at ease and helped us through the surgery step-by-step. She even gave us her personal cell phone so we could reach her whenever we had a question. Abby may not realize how much that little gesture meant to us, but it gave us the confidence that better days were ahead.
It takes a team to provide exceptional care. We also want to express our gratitude to the administrators, hiring managers, physicians, and staff in our nation’s hospitals and clinics. It is an honor to work you to find talented practitioners and build exceptional teams.
So, from our team to yours, Happy Holidays! You deserve a season of joy with happiness that lasts throughout the New Year. We can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish together in 2019.
