It’s summer, and there’s nothing better than getting together with your Advanced Practice colleagues, friends and family for a fabulous backyard BBQ. If you want a quick, easy, and delicious menu, we have you covered!

Like you, the Melnic team loves to cook, celebrate, and eat well. We’re sharing our best recipes to make your next get together a first-rate fiesta!

 

Drinks

Peach Iced Tea

Dodie, Marketing Specialist – “It gets hot in Austin, where I live. Fortunately, making peach tea couldn’t be simpler. Just throw a bag of this awesome Peach Flavored Iced Tea from Texas in a gallon jar and leave it out in the sun.”

Mango Margaritas

Christina, Recruitment Manager – “A Mango Margarita on the Rocks is my favorite summertime drink. We all need to reward ourselves now and then! To make it special, I garnish the glass with a little salt and a slice of fresh mango.”

Gazpacho

Jill, President & CEO – “In the summer, I love making Gazpacho. I think it’s so fun to use fresh vegetables from a local farmer’s market. I prefer to keep them chopped over using a blender.”

Sharla, Candidate Manager – “I’m addicted to this Red Pepper Coleslaw Salad from Kona Grill. I actually talked to the chef, and they use white cheddar, not Gorgonzola…and it’s important to use Napa cabbage. So delish!!!”

Black Bean Salad

Audrey, Talent Associate – “Our favorite summer recipe right now is a Fresh Black Bean Salad. It’s also great for a quick, healthy lunch all on its own.”

Zucchini Chocolate Cake

Britt, Marketing Specialist – I have a garden for the first time this year and have more zucchini than I know what to do with. Hands down, this Rich and Moist Zucchini Cake is the best way to eat them!
