According to Sperling’s Best Places cost comparison, job growth in Florida is positive, with an unemployment rate lower than the national average. The cost of living is slightly higher than the US average. The median home price in Florida is $206,200 compared to the national average of $196,500, according to Zillow.

Practicing as an NP in Florida
Florida is a restricted practice state, so specific aspects of your NP practice will require supervision by a licensed physician. For example, an NP in Florida may not be able to interpret diagnostic tests or prescribe medications independently under current law.
