The cost of living is slightly higher than the US average. The median home price in Florida is $206,200 compared to the national average of $196,500, according to Zillow.

Practicing as an NP in Florida
Florida is a restricted practice state, so specific aspects of your NP practice will require supervision by a licensed physician. For example, an NP in Florida may not be able to interpret diagnostic tests or prescribe medications independently under current law.
