3) Decide if your current role is the right fit
Seek to be challenged, grow, and become a better leader. These opportunities abound in organizations that value their employees and foster healthy work environments.
4) Determine if you’re practicing to your full scope of practice.
Today’s healthcare trend toward multi-disciplinary teams opens more career opportunities to NPs and PAs who specialize in delivering coordinated care. That’s why it’s critical that you strive to practice to the fullest scope of your training and knowledge.
5) Make sure you’re not giving too much.
With all the demands you face as an NP or PA, strong communication skills can be your best defense against an overwhelming workload. It’s never too late to brush up on essential communication techniques and become more effective on the job.
